The town of Neumarkt, or Neimoark as they say in Bavaria, lies about 40 kilometers south of Nuremberg on curious ground. At the time of the dinosaurs, the western edge of a huge coral reef was located here. All that remains of it is limestone, a popular regional building material, and a few fossil finds. Conveniently located and in the immediate vicinity of the Nuremberg metropolitan area, Neumarkt is now an attractive business location.
