Test Automation in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

In times of ever shorter release cycles, it is more important than ever to ensure that project implementations function smoothly even after release changes. In this context, repeated manual tests are often too time-consuming and hardly feasible on a large scale. Test automation is therefore the only viable way to ensure continuous quality.

After completing the course, you will have a solid foundation for driving forward the test automation of your applications. In the future, you will already benefit from automated tests during project development, as you will be able to recognize side effects of individual adjustments immediately and rectify them promptly. The principle of "never change a running system" also becomes less important for you, as code refactoring is typically based on the risk of "destroying more than it improves". However, if the refactoring is accompanied by existing tests, this risk is significantly minimized.

The training serves as a kick-start into the world of test automation. You will be trained in a modern development environment consisting of DevOps, Git, Docker and VS Code. This will give you additional valuable experience in these areas.

The development environment used during the training is permanently available to you from the beginning until one week after the training, so that you have sufficient opportunity to consolidate what you have learned.

The training is divided into four blocks of four hours each (09:00 to 13:00) and takes place as follows:
