The training course on Purchasing in Dynamics 365 Business Central provides you with an optimal basis for all business transactions in the area of purchasing and procurement. You will gain a comprehensive overview of the relevant documents in purchasing and familiarise yourself with the functional descriptions. Through practical exercises in the demo environment, you will go through the entire process of purchasing items in Dynamics 365 Business Central - starting with quotes, through the ordering process to the delivery of goods. In this way, you will be able to meet the requirements of the purchasing department as needed. The training also includes the tracking of delivery dates and the interaction of procurement dates with shopfloor preparation and sales to round off the process. The practice-orientated content is supported by numerous exercises.

Prerequisite: You have knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central or have attended our Business Central basic training course.

Learning objectives

After attending the training course Purchasing in Dynamics 365 Business Central

you will be able to make the necessary basic settings and configurations and know the relevant parameters in the setup,
you will have understood the process structures in purchasing and will be able to carry out the essential processes on your own,
you will be able to find your own solution approaches and possibilities for using the purchasing module.

The training takes place in a digital seminar room via Microsoft Teams and a practice environment via Microsoft Azure DevOps. We will provide you with access free of charge a few days before your training date.

The course content and training environment are based on the latest Business Central version. This training is conducted exclusively on the Business Central Client (Web Client). Please note this if you are still working with an older version or Navision.
