Our collaboration with Fraunhofer IFF aims to shape the future of work by providing practical smart manufacturing solutions, the digitally connected systems and production processes known in Germany as Industry 4.0. The Digital Construction Site solution addresses the market needs of manufacturing companies and creates potential for future growth.
#industry4.0
Equipped for the construction sites of your future
Together with the Fraunhofer IFF, we have set ourselves the goal of developing practical Industry 4.0 solutions and playing a key role in shaping the working world of the future. In addition to realistic scenarios from production that minimize time, costs and development risks, we are also working together on the digital construction site. The research project is a shining example of our commitment to actively driving forward the digitalization of industrial sites and their construction sites. Through the applications of Internet of Things technology, we are developing holistic new, intelligent services that not only make your construction sites safer, but also more efficient.
From possibility to reality
You have probably heard many times that the digitally connected systems and production processes known as Industry 4.0 in Germany hold a lot of potential for new business models and are changing the world of work. A few examples will make these possibilities a little more comprehensible. In mechanical engineering, for example, visual assistance and inspection systems provide valuable support, as do virtual models for calculating and optimizing production parameters on the shop floor. As a result, you can minimize errors and work in a time- and cost-efficient manner. There is also potential for optimization in logistics and order picking. Industry 4.0 solutions for documentation, position planning, and final inspection, as well as automatic and contactless identification and localization, can help you increase efficiency in your company.
The "Digital Construction Site"
The goal of the Digital Construction Site research project is to reduce unproductive activities and downtime on construction sites. The first step is to create a digital twin of all the components involved in a construction site and to connect different systems. This is based on technology platforms such as Microsoft Project Server, whose development we are continuously driving forward. The result is a consistent and seamless connection of all relevant work processes, from design to project management to final costing.
Practical research
Through our commitment to practical research, we identify trends early and actively drive developments forward. Our findings contribute to sustainable and efficient process optimization, enhancing your efficiency and maximizing resource utilization.
